SoloLearn – The Only Coding App You Need?

I really wanted to write a balanced review, I promise I did.

I was ready to dig deep into the underbelly of this app, to expose its weak points, to tell you how it’s failed where other apps have excelled and why you should also consider one of their competitors…

The things is (and with the disclaimer that I am a beginner in the world of coding), having used this app for a whole month I can only say it’s met all my coding needs. The biggest advantages it has over other leading apps are that many of its tutorials are available offline, it’s not swamped by ads, the wealth of tutorials and features alone is reason enough for the download.  I mean, just take a look at what you’re getting:

  • Tutorials in:
  • JavaScript
  • Java
  • HTML Fundamentals
  • C++
  • Python 3
  • SQL Fundamentals
  • C#
  • PHP
  • CSS Fundamentals
  • Swift 4 Fundamentals
  • Ruby
  • jQuery
  • C
  • Guides on:
  • Data Structures
  • Algorithms
  • Design Patterns
  • Git
  • (plus a tonne more that I couldn’t fit here)

  • Coding challenges to put all those newly acquired skills to work
  • A coding playground to play with and save the code you learnt
  • An online community to reach out to for support

The list continues if you ever feel like moving from your phone to the desktop version (but as I’m here to talk about apps I’ll let you discover the merits of that on your own).

The only caveat I could come up with, and this is really based on speculation, is that perhaps for advanced users the tutorials would not suffice, but then I guess the more advanced you are the more you turn to challenges and forums to improve your skills.

SO here you have my not-very-balanced but straight-from-the-heart SoloLearn review.

Download it now to make meeting your coding needs simpler.
